The phrase it's "raining cats and dogs" originated in the 17th century when it was believed that many dogs and cats drowned in periods of heavy rain.

Hi Anna! Looking forward to the dog updates! I met Marilyn & Dave's Yorkie when I was last in NJ --- darling!! so cute!! However, I wish the backyard breeders would STOP!! Too many wonderful adoptable dogs out there.... as you know all three of mine were also rescues.
